Specifications/Codes, or evaluate product performance.
Audio/Video Systems –
Design of communication systems to include annuciation and
paging, archival recording, assistive listening, sound
masking, speech and music reinforcement, projection and
viewing, and video teleconferencing.Computer Modeling –
Analyze audio/video systems, environmental and equipment
noise, room acoustics, and sound isolation performance to
include prediction mapping and auralization simulations.
Environmental Noise –
Reduce exterior noise immissions from aircraft, industrial,
rail, and vehicular sources at sensitive receptors such as
amphitheaters, parks, and residences.Equipment Noise and Vibration
Control – Control noise and vibration from equipment serving interior spaces
and reduce exterior equipment noise emissions.
Psychoacoustics
– Relate noise to perceptual attributes such as loudness,
pitch, and temporal phenomena to determine if design modifications are audibly significant.
Room Acoustics – Enhance music
performance and speech intelligibility
in assembly spaces, educational facilities, music
practice rooms and studios, performance venues, and worship
houses.
Sound Isolation – Reduce
the transmission of airborne and structureborne sound between interior spaces
and from the exterior environment to the interior.Speech Privacy – Balance
