New Projects
Cylburn Nature Center – Design of a 650-seat
multi-purpose room for lectures, video presentations, and social events at the historic Cylburn
Mansion in Baltimore, Maryland.
8th and 9th Street Office Building –
Expansion and renovation for the State of Virginia’s main government administrative center located in Richmond, Virginia to include
renovating the historic building and the design of a new building with hearing rooms and legislative chambers.
Johns Hopkins School of Nursing Expansion –
Design for a new 7-story “green” classroom building in Baltimore, Maryland with two 250-seat lecture halls, 30- and 50-seat classrooms,
conference center, 4-story atrium space, and administrative offices.
Robinson Nature Center – New community nature center and museum
in Columbia, Maryland to include classrooms, exhibit spaces, planetarium, viewing theater, and support spaces.
St. Theresa's Catholic Church – Design for a new 1,250-seat cruciform
shaped Sanctuary and 800-seat Fellowship Hall in Fairfax,
Virginia.
Awards and
Publications
The Ford Orientation Center and Reynolds Educational Center at Mt. Vernon have
been praised in the Washington Post and Virginia Review for design excellence and sensitivity to the existing Mt. Vernon park
grounds. Acoustical Design Collaborative, Ltd provided acoustical consulting services to GWWO Architects for this project.

enable floor impact noise transmission to be measured in accordance
with ASTM E492. |
