Contractual Agreements
The majority of our projects are provided on a fixed-fee basis where a Scope of
Services has been mutually developed by the client and Acoustical Design
Collaborative, Ltd. Certain projects, such as those involving corrective
acoustical design, are best handled by an initial investigative phase followed
by a corrective design phase where the Scope of Services can be more assuredly
determined. Our services can be retained in a variety of contractual ways. Most projects are
secured using a written Proposal prepared by Acoustical Design Collaborative,
Ltd, outlining our Scope of Services and Fees that becomes a basic form of
agreement through client countersignature.
Architects can issue AIA form C141, C142, or C727 while commercial,
governmental, or institutional clients can issue a Purchase Order. We recommend
our Proposal be included with the contractual agreement to describe services to
be provided.Acoustical Design Collaborative, Ltd maintains professional liability and
comprehensive general liability insurance. Insurance certificates from our
carriers can be issued to the client when necessary. |
