EASE Sound System
Modeling
Electro-acoustic prediction of sound systems is aided by use
of computer modeling. The above wireframe model is of a
600-seat traditional church using discretely hidden 9 ft
high line source array loudspeakers. The acoustical model
shows the major room surfaces and congregation seating
areas. The loudspeaker aiming properties can be adjusted
within the model to determine the best sound coverage and
speech intelligibility parameters in the congregation
seating areas.
The above picture shows the direct and reverberant
loudspeaker sound level in the congregation seating areas
illustrating the uniformity of coverage. |
