CadnaA Environmental Noise Modeling

Noise mapping can be useful for determining noise emissions from various sources, such as transportation or industrial sites. For the suburban community shown above, the noise level due to roads is shown in purple, along with community noise levels, where orange, yellow, and green represent higher to lower levels. Noise level contours, similar to topographic contours, can also be depicted. Noise mapping can be used to show the efficacy of noise reduction measures and which community areas are most affected.
