Acoustical Design Collaborative, Ltd is prepared to provide whatever level of
acoustical consulting services our clients feel is necessary. Projects have
involved everything from several hours of “over the shoulder” advice to
multi-year programs. The firm has experience with traditional project delivery
(design/bid/build) as well as more complex methods such as design/build,
fast-track, and phased construction.
We provide services as part
of an integrated team approach with the belief that a
successful project requires cooperative relationships
that respect the functional and design objectives of
clients, end-users, and other design professionals. Our
recommendations are scientifically based yet emphasize
the practical application of acoustical principles to
building design.
We prefer
to be involved in the project starting with the Schematic
Design phase. Many planning decisions that have a major
acoustical impact occur early in design and we can provide
solutions to remedy potential problems.
Services during the Design
Development and Construction Document phases involve drawing review,
calculations, computer modeling, preparation of detailed recommendations,
drawings and specifications, and coordination meetings.
Construction Administration phase services typically include review of
contractor submittals, periodic site inspections, systems commissioning, and final “punch-out” to
verify the acoustical goals are met in the completed facility.
Regardless of project size, our objective is to provide
clients with professional advice based on prudent design
criteria, cost effective acoustic solutions, delivered in a timely manner.
